Jamison Joyce is a native Floridian and trial lawyer with Morgan & Morgan who was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Jamison’s exposure to the legal profession started at an early age when his parents, who are both trial lawyers, would regularly bring him to their law office from the day he was born. Those early years spent in his family’s law practice ignited his passion to become a trial lawyer. He attended the Academy of the Holy Names until 8th grade and graduated from high school at Berkeley Preparatory School in his hometown of Tampa, Florida. Mr. Joyce completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where he graduated Cum Laude in 2014. Upon graduation from Florida State University, Jamison attended law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While at UF Law, he focused on his development as a trial lawyer as a teaching assistant for UF’s Trial Practice class, assisting other law students in preparing for their mock trials and as a law clerk for an insurance defense law firm during summer break. Mr. Joyce was a Book Award recipient for International Criminal Law, which is awarded to the student with the highest grade in the class and was selected for UF Law’s Dean’s List. Mr. Joyce earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2017. Mr. Joyce began his legal career as a trial lawyer in the litigation department at Joyce & Reyes Law Firm, the same office his parents brought him to as a child, focused entirely on representing people who are injured by no fault of their own. Jamison gained experience representing injured people during their time of need from the moment they walked into his office, guiding them through the entire legal process with compassion and the attention they deserve and if needed, representing them and fighting for them in front of a jury. Being one of the three trial lawyers at that law firm, Jamison gained invaluable experience working alongside the law firm’s founder and tried numerous jury trials throughout the State of Florida with successful verdicts for his clients. After six years at Joyce & Reyes Law Firm, Mr. Joyce joined the Morgan & Morgan family as a trial lawyer in 2023 so he could continue to represent injured individuals, families and communities against the powerful and fight for the people of Florida.
